Welcome at 7. Lyckan
We are so happy you chose to stay with us and look forward to welcoming you to our home.
This house has been in our family since 1986. We spent many joyful holidays here as children with our parents — and now we come back with our own families. We call it 7. Lyckan, and we hope that when you arrive, you will get a sense of why this place means so much to us. We wish you a wonderful and memorable stay.
When you arrive, please make yourselves at home. Take a moment to explore the house and garden to get familiar with the property. You will find everything freshly prepared — clean bedding and towels, including beach towels, will be waiting for you on the beds.
If anything is not quite as it should be, please let us know within the first 24 hours of your arrival and we will take care of it right away.

Key Handover
Our House Manager will meet you for the key handover.
When you leave, please help us by taking care of a few small things:
- Put dirty sheets and towels in the provided laundry bags and leave them in the entrance.
- Make sure all dishes are clean and back in the appropriate cupboard.
- Empty any food and drinks from the fridge and freezer.
- Make sure all recycling has been placed in the correct bins by the parking lot.
- Have a last look around so you don't forget any personal belongings.
Departure checklist
- Put dirty sheets and towels in the laundry bags.
- Clean the kitchen, wash up and empty the fridge and freezer.
- Hand over the keys to the House Manager.

House Rules
To help us keep 7 Lyckan a wonderful place for everyone, we kindly ask you to keep a few things in mind.
This is a non-smoking home — we appreciate your understanding. Well-behaved pets are warmly welcome. Please note that large parties and commercial photography or filming are not permitted. We also ask that you respect quiet hours between 11 PM and 7 AM, so that you and your neighbours can enjoy a peaceful stay.

TV
There is a Smart TV in the upstairs living room. Feel free to login in to your own streaming channels such as Netflix, Amazon Prime or Disney+ etc.
Please do not forget to log out before Check-Out.
Heating System
The house is centrally heated and the temperature will be set to your comfort. During summer the heating system remains switched off.
Please contact Anna, if adjustment is required.
Fireplace
The fireplace may be used, but it must always be supervised.
Push the wood as far back as possible. There is firewood behind the house, but it is not particularly good. We recommend buying firewood from a supermarket or a petrol station.
Water
We have installed a leak protection device. If a lot of water is used at the same time, it may throttle down or shut off.

Sand from the beach
On the terrace you will find a small broom to brush sand off your feet and legs before carrying it all into the house.
FRIDGE & FREEZER
The refrigerator in the kitchen shall be opened by using the small foot paddle. This allows an easy opening of the door. In the back kitchen there is a small freezer at your disposal.
Please don't forget to empty the fridge and the freezer before you leave.
Laundry
In the back kitchen you will find a washing machine and a dryer for free use. Detergent is in the cupboard next to the washing machine.
Sauna
Unfortunately, the sauna is currently out of order. A repair has already been arranged.
Waste & recycling
In the back kitchen you will find separate containers for the different types of waste.

Organic waste goes in the provided brown paper bags. Two large bins are located at the front of the house by the road. Inside each bin you will find clearly marked containers — so you'll always know exactly what goes where.
Garden and Terrace
Markise
The terrace is covered with a markise that shall not be closed and opened during your stay. Keep it out during the rain and you can enjoy outdoor sitting in a very special atmosphere.
Outdoor Table
An outdoor table for 6 persons is located outside. A second one is located in the big multi purpose room which can be used outside as well. Please locate it back for check out.
Barbeque
There is a Weber gas barbeque for your convenience. Please turn gas off after use and keep it in a tidy condition after use.
Bicycles
Bikes can be easily rented under skanorbybike.se.
They even deliver bicycles to the door.
A bicycle station with air pump / tools is located in front of the ICA Nära at Falsterbo, Gamla Torg.

A few nearby supermarkets for your daily needs. Distances are by road from Lybska Vägen 8. In Sweden, supermarkets are usually open on Sundays as well.
Your closest grocery store — a compact but well-stocked ICA Nära with all the daily essentials you need. Located within walking distance.
A larger ICA Supermarket with a broader selection — ideal for bigger weekly shops and special ingredients.
Pharmacy with prescription and over-the-counter medicines, plus personal care products and health advice.
A large selection of fresh fish and seafood, plus a popular restaurant in Skanör harbour with a beautiful waterfront setting.

A very large supermarket with an extensive range of products, plus a small shopping mall with other handy services.
In Sweden, alcohol (except very light beer) can only be purchased at Systembolaget. You must be at least 20 years old to shop here.
